17th April is the day we went for JOB HUNTING. We first went to Pallet Cafe at Lagenda Heights. We both were originally aiming for that cafe because it is new and assuming they might need more staffs. Plus, we want our job area to be at Lagenda, main reason is we don't like crowded places. Walked in and like, 'Omgoshhh..Isma, I'm in love with this place! Look at the enviroment...multiracial workers, beautiful interior design, mostly Chinese customers (I prefer non Malays customers because I feel like I don't being watched - ya know), nice manager and the 'family' term used among the staffs. And Isma was like 'I knowwwww'. The manager named Yusri interviewed us. Isma and I tried to lie though..by not admitting we are university students on semester break, afraid he won't hire us. But, we are such GOOD GIRLS and the fact that we don't know how to lie, we eventually came clean. Yusri said if we agree with the working hours of 6 p.m. - 12/1 a.m. He will be sure to hire us. 1000x smiley faces.
But then, Isma and I got so demanding we survey other places around the area as well. Next, we went to Skin & Co but the person there didn't really wanna hire anyone so she just asked us to leave our details there and will call us if she needs workers. We also went to Levi's but they're not hiring. Then we went to Edo Ichi, the manager interviewed us but he said he would call back within 3 days, since he has so many applicants waiting for hiring - did not see our chances there. Our last stop is Starbucks. This is one memorable walked-in interview we both ever had. The manager there interviewed us in a very formal way, asking serious questions and stuff. Full English. This time, Isma and I decided to lie because we wanted to be hired as full time worker. We said that we're not studying and not planning on furthering studies at the moment LMAO
At last, we went to Blackwood Cafe but then the office is not open for that day. So hungry and tired we settled at Subway and I had my sandwich and Chatime Pearl Milk Tea.
